When Bradley Roberts took over the Thornhill Arms, a 19th century pub on the corner of Caledonian Road and Wynford Road he didn’t quite know what he had signed up to.
He had hardly any experience of pulling pints let alone managing the business side of the pub and so not surprisingly he found it more than a tall order.
Thirteen years later he’s still the proud owner of this thriving watering hole that serves thirsty locals and businessmen and women alike.
He puts the story of his success down to his local roots and his savvy manager Sarah.
Lainy Malkani spoke with Bradley and Sarah about the pub.
