Happy Volunteers’ Week from King’s Cross Story Palace

Volunteers’ Week is an annual celebration of the fantastic contribution millions of volunteers make across the UK.  Taking place from 1st-7th June every year, it showcases different volunteering roles through recruitment events, taster sessions and activities across the country.

Earlier this week members of the King’s Cross Story Palace team attended the Summer 2017 Volunteering Fair. Hosted by Volunteer Centre Camden, in collaboration with Volunteer Centre Islington, this Fair was the perfect opportunity for organisations and volunteers to meet and discuss opportunities.

We met some wonderful people, had some great conversations, and – fingers crossed – have lots of new volunteers interested in and excited about the project. A big thank you to Rupal Karia, our wonderful Advisory Board Member, and the rest of the team at Volunteer Centre Camden for being such great hosts.

You can view the current volunteer opportunities available on the Volunteer Centre Camden here and searching for ‘King’s Cross Story Palace’.
